The Marketing Coordinator is an entry level position for a creative, highly organized employee with writing skills, analytical capabilities, a love of managing projects, and a few years of experience. They are Marketing’s ride or die, supporting the entire Marketing team and our goals. This team member will be responsible for assisting with advertising content and billing, marketing projects, photography and creative campaigns, and internal communications.
Essential Functions
Responsible for supporting all Marketing needs related to management/tracking of projects, content management, and proof reading of content
Ability to coordinate, categorize and assign meta-data for digital assets
Responsible for marketing invoicing, billing coding and budget reconciliation
Collect, maintain and oversee Camden Cares philanthropic projects and Marketing-related Sustainability Promotions
Develop content for Camden’s online and offline collateral including optimization of property webpages
Validate accuracy of online advertising
Contribute blogs to Simply Camden
Collect information and photos, write and proof articles for the internal company newsletter
Coordinate marketing capital project schedules and assist with photo shoots
Design experience to assist with collateral updates and overall creative needs
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree – Marketing, English, Communications is a plus
Exceptional writing and oral communication skills (writing samples are required)
Excellent project management skills and great attention to detail. We need to count on you to get stuff done on your own
Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite
SharePoint experience preferred
Knowledge in the management of various social media platforms from a business perspective including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn

Job is intermittently sedentary but requires mobility (i.e., climb stairs) to tour, show, and inspect apartments on a daily basis
Will use some repetitive motion of hand-wrist in using computer and writing
Must have normal range of vision to complete applications, leases, general paperwork and handle computerized bookkeeping duties; hearing and speech to communicate with residents, vendors, supervisors and coworkers on the telephone or in person on a regular basis
Must handle stressful, urgent, novel and diverse work situations on a daily basis
Emotional stability and personal maturity are important attributes in this position
Works in a typical office setting with daily exposure to outdoor environment (i.e., heat, cold, damp, rain, etc.) when touring community
Hazards can be avoided with proper lifting techniques, SDS and general safety training
Will be regularly called upon to work long hours and odd schedules (including weekends)
Position requires periodic travel by automobile to handle work-related activities
May require airline travel, out-of-town and /or overnight trips
Attendance and punctuality is essential for success in this position
